Emily Tamanaha

Emily serves as the Executive Director of the Hu and Luo Family Foundation, leveraging over 15 years of experience in mission-driven organizations. With a focus on building strong, mutual partnerships, Emily leads the foundation's efforts to equip the global Church to embody and proclaim the good news of Jesus. Her journey into philanthropy spans diverse leadership roles, from church planting and campus ministry, to nonprofit management and cross cultural service. She most recently lived in Mexico City for five years, serving as the U.S. Executive Director for a Christian community development ministry. A Southern California native, Emily holds degrees in Economics and Spanish from Pomona College. She and her husband, Albert, now reside in Cambridge, MA where they love serving with their local church in Central Square.
