PCP is a peer learning community of professionals striving to sharpen and encourage one another toward excellence in faith-inspired grantmaking.

We are a network of nearly 200 Christian grantmakers representing more than 100 foundations and philanthropic organizations that together steward over $2 billion annually in charitable grants. We represent widely varied funding priorities, giving strategies, budget sizes, and organizational contexts, from advancing the Great Commission to promoting the common good. Our members serve across North America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, and Australia. What we share is a common faith in Christ, a desire to steward the resources entrusted to us with wisdom, humility, excellence, and faithfulness, and a commitment to learn and grow in our profession so we can do this better today than we did yesterday.

The wisdom, experience, probing questions, and humility gathered together in our nearly 200 members is extraordinary. Though we work in widely varied places and report to our own trustees and principals, we are colleagues. We turn to one another for insight, problem-solving, and support. We help each other understand and avoid common pitfalls, and we learn from and challenge one another. Being a part of PCP is like getting a Master's in philanthropy—but the professors are the other students.

We are focused on learning from and with one another in community, and on seeking ways we can do things together to grow the Kingdom impact of our grantmaking. We gather regularly to sharpen one another through smaller learning communities, online sessions, in-person site visits and our annual conference, and resources on our members-only website.
